Two models.
One arrival.
The Malaysian debut leads with Hongqi's two most defining vehicles — the E-HS9 electric flagship and the H9 executive sedan. Together, they tell the full story: where Hongqi has been, and where it is going.
Flagship pairing.
The initial Malaysian lineup has not yet been formally confirmed by Quill Group. Based on Hongqi's established regional pattern — particularly the Singapore launch, which leads with the E-HS9 — and the brand's global right-hand-drive production roster, the E-HS9 and H9 are the two most probable launch models for the Malaysian market.
E-HS9
The global hero of Hongqi's electric era. Already on sale in Singapore, Norway, the UAE, and Saudi Arabia — a full-size dual-motor EV with up to 548km WLTP range.

H9
The sedan that reintroduced Hongqi to the world. Vertical chrome grille, long hood, quilted Nappa leather — a modern ceremonial sedan.

Hongqi's global catalogue extends well beyond the two launch models. The HS7 and HS5 offer internal-combustion SUV alternatives for buyers not yet ready for full electrification. The L5 — the ultra-flagship limousine used by Chinese heads of state — remains a bespoke, commission-only vehicle priced north of RM 3 million. The newer G117 and E007 models, still under development for international markets, are expected to broaden the lineup over time.
Malaysian availability for any model beyond the initial launch pair has not been announced. This page will be updated as Quill Group confirms further details.
